The State of Florida will receive $205.7 million year one through the Opioid Settlement. These funds will serve communities throughout the State of Florida, and the funding authority will come through the FY 23-24 Florida budget.
Our goal is to reduce overdoses by implementing evidence-based programming and providing immediate access to evidence-based treatment models. The Department has and will continue to focus our efforts in responding to this epidemic through several specific strategies.
